1. Check GLO data balance via USSD codes
USSD codes are the fastest and the most common method used to check data plan balance on GLO network.
And it requires one or two steps to check your current data subscription via USSD codes.
There are two USSD codes you can use to check your data balance on GLO network.
A. Simply dial *777#
After dialing the USSD code, you receive a menu like the one below;
Select “Buy data”. Next select “Manage plan” and lastly select “Get data balance” and wait for a reply message from GLO network.
B. Simply dial *127*0#
After using any of these two USSD codes, you will immediately receive a reply containing all information about your current data plan subscription.
You will receive your GLO data balance and the expiry date as shown below in the screenshot below.
2. Check GLO data balance via SMS
By using this method, you are checking your data balance via SMS or text message instead of USSD codes.
To do this, simply send “INFO” without the quotes as a message to 127.
Then wait for a reply message from GLO network containing all the information you need to know about your current active data plan subscription.
Your GLO data balance will be sent to you via text like in the screenshot below.
For Blackberry smartphone users, check your GLO BIS data balance by simply send “STATUS” without the quotes as a message to 777.
3. Check GLO data balance on GLO self-care portal
When browsing the internet on your favourite internet browsers, you can easily check your GLO data balance without the need to close the browser or switch between apps.

4. Check GLO data balance on GLO cafe app
This method is an excellent choice for smartphone users
It comes with an added advantage of managing your GLO account. Which means you can manage your data, airtime easily from the app.
By using the GLO cafe app, you can easily check your data balance and subscribe to a new GLO data plan.
Firstly, you want to download the app to register your account using your GLO registered phone number.
For Android users, download the GLO café app on Google play store
For the ios users, download the GLO café app on iTunes store
Install the app and register using your GLO number.
Afterwards, you can start managing your account. Your GLO 3G and 4G data balance will be displayed in your account dashboard like the one below.
To subscribe to a new data plan, simply click on data packs under product & services.
Here you will see a list of all GLO data plans. To subscribe to any of the plans, just simply click on the subscribe button.
